We offer the people of Madison and surrounding communities fresh vegetables and fruits, grass-fed meats: beef, chicken, and goose-as well as eggs, maple syrup and maple products, baked goods, fresh chevre, raw honey and beeswax products, annual and perennial seedlings, cut flowers, handcrafted pottery and other craftsmanship. Our folks offer a unique blend of traditional agriculture, coupled with modern techniques and grassroots creativity that brings the local food movement to this part of rural Maine.

  5. The Ale House String Band

    The Ale House String Band was formed and refined at The Narrows Tavern in Waldoboro, ME. Oren is a classically trained vocalist, Brian is a wandering soul who picked up music along the way, and April has a Masters Degree in Music Performance. The three have an uncanny ability to improvise music on the spot, have entire conversations through harmony alone, and occasionally offend random Baptists. Always remember we offer Sandwiches, Sweets, Soft Drinks, Beer and Wine at our shows. This show is for all ages and any alcohol will be consumed away from the concert seating. In bringing children please keep in mind your child's ability to sit for a two hour show.
