Medication Collection Event

A medication Collection Event , open to the residents of Somerset County, has been scheduled for Saturday, october 4, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Skowhegan Recycling Center, located at 29 Transfer Station Drive, off Steward Hill Road. Scheduled in conjuction with the Skowhegan Recycling Center's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, this event will provide residents a safe and secure way to dispose of unused, unwanted and outdated medicines of all types. While pre-registration is required for the Hazardous Waste Collection portion of the event (call 207-474-6904), no registration is required for the disposal of medication.
