The Maine Appalachian Trail Club is coming to Skowhegan! We’re hosting a series of free programs around the state this year hosted by a group we’re calling the Friends of the A.T. in Maine, in an effort to increase awareness of MATC and the A.T. in Maine, and we’ll be at the Strand Cinema on August 7th with a program for people interested in learning about trail maintenance.

We’d love to have you join us if you can.

In addition to the August event in Skowhegan, we’ll be in Orono with Dave Field in September, and in the Lewiston/Auburn area with Carey Kish in October.

All of the Friends of the A.T. in Maine events are free, but we do ask people to register for each event by emailing friends@matc.org.
