[ARCHIVED] NEW FARMER'S MARKET IN MADISON STARTING MAY 4TH

Runamuk--of course is a farm--they plan to offer pasture-raised meats, nursery stock (to fill the gap left by the closing of the Blackwell Hill Nursery), and of course bees and bee-related products.

But Runamuk is much more than that--they are working to establish an integrated pollinator conservation and sustainable living center here. With a myriad of wildflower meadows and bee-pastures, connected by a network of walking paths. The center will be complete with a picnic area and an education center so that they can offer workshops, agri-tourism events, and more.

It's going to be great for the Madison-Anson area. And they have the support of people like Ernie and Gwen Hilton, and their county's representative--Ann Dorney--as they move forward with out farm expansion. They are so excited!

I would like to share the link to the RUNAMUNK crowdfunding campaign with you: http://igg.me/at/runamukacres and the promotional youtube video they put together: http://youtu.be/diZsO_MScps so that you and those you work with or are friends with can see what's coming up in the area. Runamuk is going to do great things for the community. I hope you will take a moment to pass the links along and share the news.
