[ARCHIVED] MOVE MORE PROGRAM FROM SOMERSET PUBLIC HEALTH

Move More is a free program for people who want to be more physically active. The key to Move More is a group of "Movers" in the community or workplace who provide peer support for people who enroll. Move More is free of charge to enrollees and offers...

Support from a "Mover"
A Pedometer
Maps of outdoor walking trails
Lists of indoor walking spaces in your area
Physical activity log sheets
Move More Newsletter
Other physical activity resources

Examples of how Movers can help are...

Walking together
Talking about places to exercise
Providing free tools such as pedometers
Regular e-mails and information to help motivate people to keep moving.

If you would like to enroll in Move More or be trained as a Mover, please call Kristie LeBlanc at Somerset Public Health by phone 207-858-8454 or e-mail kleblanc@rfgh.net
