We are seeking volunteers to join our Money Minders program. Money Minders is part of a national program for adults 55 or older, needing help with paying bills on time and making sure their budget can support these bills. We need volunteers to meet with consumers once or twice a month for a few hours to assist with this need. Money Minders is designed to help older adults stay home and independent in their community as long as possible on a limited income.
Please join our team and help a vulnerable senior or disabled adult in your community maintain their independence. You can have one consumer to work with, or you can choose to help more than one person. The amount of time you would like to volunteer is your choice. We will provide training and support with all aspects of the program. We are seeking volunteers throughout our service area of Lincoln, Knox, Waldo, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Kennebec Counties, as well as Brunswick and Harpswell.
