Dear Property Owner / Resident:

The Town of Skowhegan is conducting a revaluation of all real property. The Town has contracted Vision Government Solutions to assist the Assessor’s Office in this process. For the next ten months data collectors from Vision will be visiting each property to measure and inspect the exterior and interior of the dwellings on the property. This inspection will only take a few minutes and is essential in obtaining a fair and equitable valuation. There will be an initial attempt to enter a property; if no one is at the home or business on that occasion a letter will be sent to homeowners and business owners to call and schedule an appointment at his/her convenience. They will also take a photograph of each property.

This letter serves to introduce the following individual who is an employee of Vision Government Solutions who will be performing these services on behalf of the Town. This person is carrying a Vision Government Solutions picture ID and this information is on file with the Skowhegan Police Dept.
