We are very excited to tell you that on April 22, 2016 the ConnectME Authority awarded Somerset County as a whole, the Community Broadband Planning Grant in the amount of $79,877.00. We will be working with both Axiom Technologies and Tilson Technology to help us plan for broadband infrastructure upgrades to help meet the needs in the Towns of Somerset County.
Once we have signed contracts with both Tilson Technology and Axiom Technologies, we will be scheduling our next Broadband meeting to bring everyone to the table and help discuss further planning to increase our counties broadband capacity.
