Skowhegan Economic Development Corp is very excited to announce that two lots have been purchased in the Southgate Industrial Park

A new company has chosen to move to the Skowhegan area, Civil Arms, Inc. has purchased the two end lots in the Southgate Industrial Park.

Civil Arms, Inc. is a company based in Windham, Maine with a sister company in Canada; who is a fully-licensed distributor, importer and exporter of firearms and maintains full registrations with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Civil Arms, Inc. supplies International dealers and distributors with firearms and accessories which are available in the U.S.A.

          Civil Arms, Inc. is planning to start construction on their new facility in the spring of 2017. The facility is approximately going to be a 12-15000 sq. ft warehouse with office spaces and conference room. The placement of the building is such so that future expansions can be added on to the structure.
