KVCAP has been chosen as a finalist for Summit’s Charitable Giving Program this year. This means that, at a minimum, our organization will receive a $1,000 grant.
But...WITH YOUR SUPPORT we have a chance to receive $4,000!
Throughout the month of May, community members have the chance to vote for their favorite nonprofit out of Summit's top six finalists. The top two vote receivers will be awarded $4,000 each.
Funds received from Summit will support the Kennebec/Somerset Explorer public bus system, which provides public transportation to increase people's access to a wider variety of job opportunities and additional resources throughout Central Maine.
Because the donation from Summit would be private funds, the contribution would be matched dollar for dollar by federal funding, thereby doubling Summit’s investment.
