42 Hours of Classroom Instruction 

DRIVING SCHEDULE

 May 19 & 20, June 3 & 4, June 9 & 10, 2018

6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Morning or afternoon)

30 Hours of Driving Instruction (20 hours range driving /10 hours road driving) 

One to one road instruction will be individually scheduled until July 1

Participant will be able to schedule the CDL test the week of July 7, 2018

FEE & OTHER INFORMATION

REGISTRATION FEE:  $1,599  (Payable to Lawrence Adult Education/MSAD 49)

Registration fee includes all course fees. Physical and permit fees not included and will need to be paid by participant

(Physical is $100 and permit is $70)

Minimum enrollment – 8 students  |  Maximum enrollment – 12 students

Reading assessment prior to class start date must be taken at the Lawrence Adult Education office.

The DOE physical and physical exam form must be completed before the class start date.

REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must:

·         Students age 21 or older are eligible for a Class B License with school bus endorsement;

·         Applicants must hold a valid Maine driver’s license and have a good driving record with no OUI’s within the past 7 years. Your driving record will be checked;

·         Proof of good health. A physical exam form is required to be completed by your doctor prior to class start;

·         Vision correctable by lenses of at least 20/40. A vision screening will be provided at the first class;

·         Flexibility to schedule driving instruction on Saturdays and Sundays on the range/road.

 Approved for the use of GI Bill education benefits.
