The 2018 spring in town leaf/brush pick up will begin on:

Monday, April 23^rd                  on streets between North Ave and Madison Ave.

Tuesday, April 24^th                  on streets west of Main Street

Wednesday, April 25^th            on streets west of Madison Ave

Thursday, April 26^th                on streets east of Main Street

Friday, April 27^th                     on streets east of North Ave

Monday, April 30^th                  on streets between North Ave and Madison Ave

Tuesday, May 1^st                    on streets west of west of Main Street

Wednesday, May 2^nd              on streets west of Madison Ave

Thursday, May 3^rd                  on streets east of Main Street

Friday, May 4^th                       on streets east of North Ave

In order to ensure that storm drain systems continue to work properly and do not become plugged with leaves and brush, the Skowhegan Public Works Department will pick up leaves on all streets that have curbing and storm drainage systems. If you live on one of these streets, your leaves and brush should be separated and raked out beyond to the edge of the road but not so far as to impede traffic. Residents may also dispose of leaves by taking them to the Town‘s Transfer Station facility for composting. If you have any questions, please call 474-6911. Thank you for your cooperation.
