The Town of Skowhegan is applying for the 2020 Façade Grant. Any Business in Skowhegan that is interested in applying for an individual façade grant, should contact the Economic and Community Development Office at 474-6905.

Businesses who apply for funding will be able to use the funds toward fixing up the exterior of their building; this can include doors, windows, painting exterior, new siding. Every grant has to be matched at a minimum of one dollar for every grant dollar. Match can come from interior or exterior improvements. At this time, the maximum grant amount applied for each business is $10,000.

The Town of Skowhegan will be scheduling an informational meeting for February 20th at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the 2020 Facade Grant that all are welcome to attend. Skowhegan’s Economic Development Office will provide information about the facade grant process, offer ideas for projects and match, and answer any questions you may have about the Façade Grant.
