[ARCHIVED] MOVE MORE KIDS SWIM CLUB

Once again, we are joining the efforts with Move More Kids & The New Balance Foundation in promoting physical activity for students in our communities at the Redington-Fairview General Hospital's Rehab & Fitness Services Pool.. This program will start March 11, 2014 and end May 1, 2014 and will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Has your child been involved in any swim program before?

The swim program is held in our indoor community lap pool which is 83 degrees. Cholorine is used to sanitize the pools; some children are sensitive to it.

Participants with the following conditions WILL NOT be allowed in the pools: Flu symptoms, diarrhea, open wounds, infectious skin rashes, scabies/lice, draining boils, severe burns, ear infections, conjunctivitis, incontinence, and menstruation without internal protection.

Due to the program structure and time efficiency, ONLY SWIM CLUB PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE POOLS at that time. Facility & Pool rules will be reviewed by the Water Safety Instructor and Aquatic Aide Staff. There WILL BE a lifeguard on duty.

This program is open to all children within Somerset County in Grades 5 through 8. All Registration forms must be in by March 5th to participate. All children must arrive at 3:15 PM and MUST be picked up by 5 PM.

Should there be a need to cancel; cancelations will be announced on local radio stations and Channel 5 News by 12:00 noon. Make-up times will be arranged at a later date.
